This is our second time coming over to stay on the Isles of Scilly and both times we have used St Martins Watersports. Each time they picked the perfect time for us to kayak to the sandbank. It is truly magical and hard to believe you are in England. We have been lucky enough to have great weather and it is like you are in paradise. Brilliantly run company and will visit every time we come back. Thank you.
St Martin's Watersports had to change the date of our Kayak hire due to bad weather, oh wow we were so glad they did, the morning we had was just perfect , we had never done Kayaking before, but were given advise and advised where to go, it was just brilliant, anyone going to St Martin's I would 100% recommend that you use these guys.
Kayaking around the St Martin’s has always been magical - especially the seal spotting! This was our third time to hire kayaks here and we went for the multi day option, which gave us real flexibility to go out on the water at our own pace. The equipment is excellent and Anna and her team give knowledgeable advice on the local area and have a safety-first approach so kept in touch regularly during our hire. Highly recommend!
We had a kayak and 2 paddle boards for the day and had so much fun. Stopped at a beach and had a picnic. Collected shells and swam off the paddle boards with snorkels. Children had so much fun. Staff really helpful a must for staying on St Martins.
We had an excellent experience with St Martin’s Watersports; we hired a double kayak for a 2hr trip around the bay. The staff on the beach were welcoming and knowledgeable and we were given detailed advice and safety instructions which was really reassuring. We were provided with a map highlighting key landmarks and most importantly estimated paddle times!
Our paddle was lovely, isolated coves, seabirds, a beautiful sandbar, clear blue /green sea and seals :)
Anna and her team are professional, friendly and with focus on safety. We rented singles and a double kayaks during our stay on St. Martin’s and we definitely will be back. Amazing routs and small islands to explore often escorted by grey seals! Also kayaking to Tresco for a lunch at Ruins Café is great. Many thanks for the amazing time and your kindness.
I can’t praise St Martin’s Watersports enough! A quick phone call ensured I knew how to book online, which was really straightforward. We chose to book for kayaks 3 hours, which was enough to explore a couple of off islands and have a picnic on one of them. We were given a clear safety briefing and provided with a map to help us get safely from place to place. Once on the water we saw seals and had a brilliant time! If you’re on St Martins, book a kayak with these people and you won’t be disappointed!
We hired equipment from St Martin's Watersports when we visited the islands last month and had booked to do paddle boarding in the afternoon. Anna who runs the business, gave us an option to defer the booking for when the weather improved. The equipment we used was modern and in great condition. We were given guidance on how to paddle board (we were all newbies) and strict rules of the furthest boundaries we could go, as there was still an offshore breeze. We all had a very enjoyable hour, learning to balance and (eventually) stand on the boards.
We are visiting next year and very much hope to book double kayaks to explore a bit further, weather permitting.
We had a beautiful peaceful kayak along the coast of St Martins. The member of staff was friendly and helpful and the equipment was great. One of my favourite experiences of the holiday.
